Naval Officer Hat Cake

I made this hat for the graduating Naval ROTC at my university. The cake is chocolate with buttercream filling. I made a mold of an officer crest and button from an actual hat. This was the first time I had ever made a mold of something, and it turned out alright. The gold, silver, and black were all hand painted on.
